I know several of us missed out on this last week. I just picked up a crate... would have ordered more but www.centuryarms.com says they *maybe* will also have it on sale next month...

FWIW With a 01 FFL or 03 c&r Shipping at century is 12.99 flat and over $500 is free... Last time century had it on sale it was 64.99 a tin.

I didn't want to wait since aims sold out within 24 hours last week when they posted that price, $139.11 delivered for a wood crate of 1600 rounds. Century (assuming it goes on sale money) will be $129.98 for the same two tins BUT no wood crate and no guarantee they'll even have it... I'll be placing a $500 order anyway on Monday so shipping wouldn't matter. Should century have it for $64 a tin I'll buy one more tin so I don't have to crack into my crate yet ;)

FWIW century is having a carry over sale on Monday both febuary and march sales will be honored till 5pm... that means we'll see if next month will also have $119.00 tins of 5.45x39 still on sale plus whatever else. Also .32acp is on sale as well 39.98 for 250 rounds of s&b that 7.95 a box, dirt cheap for .32acp if anyone is looking for it, it's good stuff I ordered a case of it and shot 100 rounds of it last weekend. My guy couldn't tell me anything about it like production or what so I didn't want to order a bunch of old junk... as it turns out it's brand new current production. I'm getting another 1k rounds (maybe more).

Considering the shape of things, NOW is the time to buy the calibers that are still depressed on prices. 7.62x25, 5.45x39, .32acp, 9x18 (if you can find it cheap anymore, aims is out)...

FYI I'm still seeing some 7.62x39 around below 170 a case, aim has wolf and someone has golden tiger 1k cases for 159, don't recall who but it's one of the usual suspects.
